GhostMode chains are not presets with a fancy name. Capture a passage of your audio and the engine measures it — spectrum, dynamics, transients, stereo field — then prescribes a chain built for exactly that material.

Arm a capture and play the part. Analysis is strictly capture-driven — the ghost only rebuilds when you ask, never behind your back mid-take.

The engine fingerprints the capture and prescribes a hidden smart chain in your chosen style — module choices, settings, the lot. Open the inspector to see exactly what it built.

Thirty of them are transformative — the engine holds those to a minimum-change floor, so "Mangle" never comes back sounding polite. The rest are corrective: they stay faithful to your source and skip the creative layer entirely.
Engaged = audible
When GhostMode is on, the smart chain is the only path you hear, your rack UI locks to say so, and every meter and visualizer reads from the chain that is actually making the sound. No secret parallel mush.

The offline analysis engine ships in the plugin and never costs a cent. The AI layer is a switch, not a wall.
Offline analysis
- Runs entirely on your machine — nothing leaves it.
- All 83 moods, full capture analysis, instant results.

AI prescription
- Analyze consults the GhostWare service — a model briefed on every module, your chosen style, its mood, and an optional text prompt from you.
- Genre-aware: a keyword scan of your prompt — or a fallback read of the capture's own acoustic fingerprint when you don't type one — tells the model whether you're mixing a ballad, a trap beat or a rock take, so it mixes accordingly.
- Verify-and-refine: the plugin renders the AI's chain offline and the loop iterates until it is noticeably processed and clean.
- Hard rail: a chain that clips more than 1% of samples is never published to your session.
- Service unreachable or out of credits? The click falls back to the offline engine — you always get a chain.
Privacy
Fingerprint first. Audio only by choice.
By default the AI request contains a compact numeric fingerprint of your capture — spectral and dynamic measurements, not sound. Your audio stays on your machine. And whichever mode you use, we never save or store your audio, and it is never used to train any AI model.
- Fingerprint mode (default): measurements only. Nobody can listen to numbers.
- Full-audio mode (opt-in): send the capture itself when you want the model's ears on the actual material.
- Never stored, never trained on: whichever mode you use, your audio is held in memory only for the seconds it takes to analyze it, then discarded — never written to a database, never logged, and never used to train any AI model, ours or our AI provider's.
- Your words, sanitized: the optional prompt field is clamped to 100 plain characters before it travels.
- Kill switch: the AI toggle lives in Advanced settings; off means offline, period.
