Module Reference · Pitch & Vocal
Pitch / Formant
Pitch / Formant shifts pitch up to an octave each way and moves the vocal character (the formants) independently - deepen a voice without dropping the note, or shift the note while the character stays put. Glide smooths transitions, and transient preservation keeps drums snappy through the shifter.
Two harmony voices with independent interval, level and pan turn it into an instant harmonizer; spread and detune thicken the wet path; texture modes add Robot, Grain, Bright or Sub colors. Set Pitch Src to MIDI and the shift amount follows the notes you play - a playable pitch shifter.
Why it hits different
The GhostWare take.
- Pitch and vocal character (formant) on separate knobs - note and voice decoupled.
- Two pannable harmony voices built in.
- MIDI pitch source makes the shifter performable.

Control Showcase
Every control, explained.
18 controls, named exactly as they appear in the plugin.
Main pitch shift in semitones, up or down an octave.
Fine pitch offset in cents.
Shifts the vocal character independently of pitch - deeper or chipmunk without changing the note.
Trade CPU for fidelity: Low, Med or High.
Blend between the untouched signal and the processed one. 100% is fully wet.
Smooths pitch changes over time instead of jumping.
Preserves attack transients through the shifter so drums stay snappy.
Interval of the first harmony voice, in semitones.
Level of the first harmony voice.
Stereo position of the first harmony voice.
Interval of the second harmony voice, in semitones.
Level of the second harmony voice.
Stereo position of the second harmony voice.

Detunes the wet path against the dry for thickening.
Special colors for the shifted signal: Robot (monotone), Grain (granular texture), Bright or Sub (adds a low octave).
How much of the selected texture effect is applied.
Where the pitch target comes from: the Knob, or live MIDI notes played into the plugin.
