Frequency Shifter
The Frequency Shifter moves every frequency by a fixed number of Hz - not a pitch shift, so a sound's harmonics bend out of tune with each other into bell-like, metallic territory. At a few Hz it produces a hypnotic endless-rising (or falling) drift, like a barber's pole; at hundreds it is full metallic transformation. Opposite stereo mode shifts the channels in opposite directions for enormous width.
The feedback path is the playground: each pass through the loop shifts again, spiraling the sound endlessly up or down, with its own filters and drive to shape the trail. Envelope and LFO modulation animate the shift, and two engines - HQ (cleanest, adds a little delay) or Live (instant response for tracking) - let you choose fidelity or immediacy.
