Transient
The Transient shaper separates every sound into hit and tail, then hands you both on independent knobs. Push Attack for impact or soften it for smoothness; stretch Sustain for room and ring or pull it down for tight, dry drums. Punch adds weighted low-mid impact and Snap sharpens the first milliseconds of each hit.
The detector is fully tunable - peak or RMS, sensitivity, frequency focus, adjustable attack and sustain windows, and a noise floor so quiet passages never trigger. A split frequency protects the bass from shaping, and the external Trigger input lets one sound's hits shape another's envelope.

Boosts or softens the initial hit of each transient. Positive is punchier, negative is rounder.
Boosts or shortens everything after the hit - the ring, room and tail.
A weighted low-mid emphasis on the attack phase for extra impact.
Rounds the shaped transients so extreme settings stay smooth.
Tone control for the sustain portion.
Blend between the untouched signal and the processed one. 100% is fully wet.
Sharpens the very first milliseconds of the hit for extra click.
Peak follows fast spikes; RMS follows the average energy.
Biases detection toward higher frequencies so hats and snares trigger instead of bass.
Final level trim after shaping.
How long the "attack" phase lasts before the sustain shaping takes over.
How long the sustain shaping keeps acting after each hit.
A safety clipper on the output so boosted transients cannot overshoot.
How easily hits are detected. Raise it for quiet material.
Keeps everything below this frequency out of the shaping - protects bass. 0 disables the split.
Level below which the shaper stops reacting, so noise floors do not trigger it.
How fast the noise gate re-arms after the signal drops below the floor.
